Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking cart attendants to responsibly shuttle carts in and around the store, maintain cleanliness, and support customers. The role involves handling shopping carts, assisting in the parking lot, and working with multiple store departments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Move shopping carts between exterior and interior areas.
• Assist in keeping parking lot, lawn, and store areas tidy.
• Operate snow removal equipment when needed.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrances, lanes and parking areas.
• Coordinate with departments including Health & Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, etc.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
