Meijer in Appleton, WI is hiring an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across departments and services. You will support store operations and interact with customers to demonstrate above-and-beyond service.

Responsibilities include assisting with carts, cleaning, trash collection, snow removal during winter, and collaboration with service desks and department teams. This role offers growth opportunities through Meijer development programs.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants transport shopping carts from outside to inside.
• Coordinate and collect recycling/trash in parking lot and store.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to clear snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrances, lanes, and parking areas.
• Work with departments across store (Health & Beauty, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral).
• Possibly perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. Meijer Courtesy Team Members enjoy interacting with people and know what "above and beyond" customer service means.

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
