Job summary

Meijer in Michigan is seeking an entry-level team member to support store operations across customer service, stocking, and general retail tasks. You will interact with customers and contribute to a culture of above-and-beyond service.

Responsibilities include cart retrieval, parking lot and trash coordination, basic cleaning, and teamwork with service desks and departments. This role also participates in Meijer Rewards: weekly pay, flexible scheduling, education assistance, and growth

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store to the interior.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

Responsibilities

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service.
