Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to support store operations across departments, including cart retrieval, cleaning, and assisting the service desk. You will interact with customers and help maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

You must be able to lift and move items, adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting, and collaborate with teammates to ensure safe, efficient store operations. This role offers exposure to multiple store tasks and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Assist with perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Support departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
