Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking an Utility Cleaner to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in our culinary spaces. You will perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, dust hard-to-reach areas, and ensure a safe, sanitary work environment for staff and guests.

You will follow OSHA guidelines while using cleaning agents and operate dishwashers and other equipment. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and timely service in a fast-paced casino/hospitality setting.

Formación

• 1 year of relevant experience preferred; STA Kitchen Worker certification preferred.
• Knowledge of proper stove and equipment cleaning techniques preferred.
• Familiarity with handling industrial cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
• Perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, floors, grills, broilers, and other surfaces.
• Conduct high-dusting throughout the kitchen and beverage outlets to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals per OSHA regulations and company policies to sanitize equipment and workspaces.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, sinks, garbage disposals, and other cleaning equipment; perform basic breakdown and reassembly as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas throughout the shift.
• Transport garbage, recycling, and debris from kitchen and bar areas to designated disposal locations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 Years of Age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
