Job summary

Omni Hotels is seeking a dedicated Public Areas Housekeeper for night shifts in Houston. You will clean guest and associate areas to Omni Standards, maintain lobbies, corridors, elevators, and entrances, and respond to guest requests with efficiency and courtesy.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of floor care equipment, ability to stand for long periods, and good communication skills. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience preferred.

• Able to input information into computer systems.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift items of moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest and associates service elevators.
• Clean and maintain baseboards.
• Clean and all associates corridors.
• Clean carpets; vacuum, shampoo and spot removal.
• Clean and services all lobby areas.
• Clean outside entrances, associate entrance and main entrance to hotel.
• Complete guest requests and other tasks as assigned by management.

Position Overview:

To clean and maintain all public and associate areas, in accordance with Omni Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleans guest and associates service elevators.
• Cleans and Perform Maintenance of baseboards.
• Cleans and all associates corridors.
• Cleaning carpets.
• Cleans and services all lobby areas.
• Cleans outside entrances, associate entrance and main entrance to hotel.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and spot removal.
• Complete guest's request.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Floor care equipment.
• Must be able to work 11pm to 7am.
• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and management both within and outside of your department.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
