Pay Range: $26.44 Hourly

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Travel: Up to 25%

Security Clearance: TS/SCI

Primary Responsibilities:

The Utility Cleaner ensures the cleanliness and hygiene of facilities through scheduled cleaning services, waste removal, floor care, and maintaining restrooms, kitchens, and other areas. Compliance with safety and pathogen control standards is essential.

1. General Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning tasks, follow schedules, and protect surfaces using appropriate techniques.
2. Waste Management: Empty and replace liners in waste and recycling containers, and ensure proper disposal.
3. Space Cleaning: Clean and organize assigned spaces, restoring furniture and items to original positions.
4. High and Low Area Cleaning: Clean areas up to and above 7 feet, including fixtures and vents.
5. Kitchen and Break Rooms: Sanitize and refill supplies, and ensure cleanliness.
6. Restrooms and Locker Rooms: Disinfect and stock supplies, and remove graffiti.
7. Floor Care: Sweep, mop, buff, strip, and deep clean floors, ensuring safety with warning signs.
8. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean interior and exterior windows and blinds.
9. Building Perimeter: Maintain cleanliness around the building, including sidewalks and smoking areas.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in custodial or janitorial work
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety regulations
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license
• U.S. citizenship required for government contract

Preferred: Current TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI clearance.

Physical and Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors, including confined spaces and heights
• Full-time, with possible evening, weekend, or holiday work
