Citywide Janitorial is seeking a dependable Utility Associate / Floater to provide operational support across multiple client accounts. This full-time role covers schedules due to absences, vacations, and urgent requests, requiring adaptability to different facilities and shifts.

The position involves cross-training on diverse sites, performing cleaning and sanitation tasks to standard, and maintaining professional communication with supervisors.

Responsabilidades

• Provide staffing coverage for absences, vacancies, vacations, leaves, and unexpected call-offs.
• Perform janitorial and facility support across client locations.
• Complete cleaning tasks: restrooms, trash, dusting, vacuuming, floor care, breakrooms, high-touch surfaces.
• Follow safety, security, and client requirements.
• Cross-train across multiple accounts and adapt to different teams.
• Communicate schedules and assignments with supervisors.
• Attend training and complete cross-training across accounts.
• Represent Citywide Janitorial professionally with clients and staff.

Position Summary

Citywide Janitorial is seeking a dependable, adaptable, and service-oriented Utility Associate / Floater to provide operational support across multiple client accounts. This position is designed to ensure uninterrupted service delivery by providing coverage during employee absences, vacations, call-offs, staffing shortages, special projects, and other operational needs.

The Utility Associate/Floater will be cross-trained on various accounts, facilities, and job functions to effectively support multiple teams throughout the organization. This role requires a high degree of flexibility, professionalism, reliability, and the ability to seamlessly transition between different work environments and schedules.

While work schedules will generally be communicated in advance, the successful candidate must be willing and able to accommodate occasional schedule adjustments, shift changes, and urgent coverage requests as business needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide staffing coverage for employee absences, vacancies, vacations, leaves of absence, and unexpected call-offs.
• Perform janitorial and facility support services at various client locations in accordance with each site's scope of work and quality standards.
• Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Restroom cleaning and sanitization
  • Trash collection and disposal
  • Dusting and surface cleaning
  • Vacuuming and mopping
  • Floor care services
  • Breakroom and common area maintenance
  • High-touch point disinfection
• Adhere to company policies, client requirements, safety standards, and security procedures.
• Maintain consistent service quality while adapting to different facilities, teams, and job responsibilities.
• Support periodic cleaning projects, special assignments, and operational initiatives as directed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding schedules, assignments, and operational concerns.
• Attend required training sessions and successfully complete cross-training across multiple accounts and service areas.
• Represent Citywide Janitorial in a professional manner while interacting with clients, tenants, visitors, and team members.

Schedule & Flexibility Requirements

This position is intended to support operational continuity and requires exceptional flexibility.

The ideal candidate must be able to:

• Work at multiple client locations within the service area.
• Adapt to changing schedules based on business and client needs.
• Work a variety of shifts, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend assignments when required.
• Accept occasional last-minute schedule modifications or coverage requests.
• Work independently with limited supervision while maintaining productivity and service standards.
