Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Utility Worker to oversee assigned lines, minimize rejects by inspecting pipe during the finishing process, and run necessary equipment. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available, with $500 paid after the first 3 months of continuous employment and another $500 after 6 months.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keeps area clean at all times.
• Inspects pipe left on carts by the previous shift.
• Assist Machine Tender during string up process.
• Rework pipe.
• Preband bundles and put in center bands.
• Recycle steel-banding scraps.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Utility Worker.
