Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our New York manufacturing site. You will perform preventative maintenance, read diagrams, and troubleshoot equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

This role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus ($750 after 3 months and $750 after 6 months), plus competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, paid time off, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• At least one year of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to diagnose and fix problems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, motors, pumps, and welding is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically.

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks

Job Summary

National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate for this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This maintenance mechanic will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operations manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions. There is a $1500 sign-on bonus for this position with the first $750 paid after the first 3 months of continuous employment and another $750 paid after 6 months of continuous employment.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically throughout the day

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $25 - $38/hr
