Saia is a logistics and transportation company that emphasizes hands-on teamwork and operational reliability. This role supports the general maintenance and operational tasks needed to keep facilities and equipment, including trucks and trailers, running smoothly.

You will perform cleaning and routine maintenance, move trucks and trailers between yards, manage inventory, and coordinate parts with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely maintenance and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Working knowledge in basic repairs.

Responsabilités

• Performs general cleaning and maintenance of facilities, trucks, and trailers.
• Drives trucks and trailers to and from yards for routine maintenance.
• Cleans and maintains shop areas not covered under the janitorial contract.
• Schedules and picks up ordered parts and supplies.
• Maintains and tracks inventory records and conducts regular inventory checks.
• Supports the distribution of supplies and equipment to various departments.
• Facilitate communication between vendors and stakeholders.
• Collaborates with business partners in scheduling routine maintenance activities.

Position Summary

Supports the general maintenance and operational tasks of keeping facilities and equipment operating smoothly.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and maintenance of facilities, trucks, and trailers.
• Drives trucks and trailers to and from yards for routine maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $19.40 - $22.30 per hour, based on experience.
