Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a cart attendant to support store operations at our Marion, Indiana location. You will shuttle carts, maintain parking lot cleanliness, and assist customers at service points while working with multiple departments to ensure a clean and welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely shuttle shopping carts from the exterior to the store interior.
• Maintain parking lot, lawn, and interior trash collection.
• Operate snow removal equipment when needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist service desk, entryway, check lanes, and parking areas.
• Work with departments across the store and may perform other duties.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
