Job summary

Meijer is seeking cart attendants to support store operations in Indiana. You will collect carts, assist in the parking lot and trash collection, and help with snow removal, basic cleaning, and basic store tasks.

This fast-paced role offers interaction with customers and fellow team members. We value organized individuals with strong listening and communication skills, able to lift and move products safely and collaborate with multiple departments to keep the store running smoothly.

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts to store interior

• Support service desk, entrance, lanes, and parking areas
• Collaborate with departments across store sections

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
