Utility 2 (Prep/Cook) - 2nd Shift 1:30pm - 10:00pm M-F

Plant Overview:

• 3-Shift Operation
• Non-Union Facility with approximately 200 hourly staff members, including a mix of temporary and full-time associates.
• Facilities include 4 bag soup lines, 1 tub line, 18 Kettles, 5 Filling lines, and 4 packaging lines, producing Frozen Soups and Macaroni & Cheese.

Job Overview:

Join our team to produce quality products for over 50 household brands in the U.S. We seek candidates eager to make great soups and capable of working flexibly across multiple roles, with knowledge of bag prep, spice, cook, blanch, and equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards. Leadership skills to cover for department leads are also desirable.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Complete assigned tasks within the department.
• Understand and implement CIL, CL, 5S, problem solving, and Oscar system procedures.
• Lead by example in problem solving and escalate issues as needed.
• Improve technical skills through the Step Up Card system.
• Ensure team coordination to minimize errors.
• Manage material flow and documentation accurately.
• Participate in meetings and monitor production targets.
• Assist in training and education of employees.
• Participate in root cause analysis and waste reduction efforts.
• Support audits and develop procedures and corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:
