Job summary

MTM Transit in Scottsdale is seeking a Utility to wash, fuel and service fleet vehicles, perform daily facility maintenance and support fleet operations in all weather. CDL requirement: valid Arizona Class A or B with a Passenger Endorsement.

Starting pay rate is $21.50 per hour. Must pass DOT and background checks and eligible to work in the United States. We offer health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match and a range of growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license for past 3 years.
• Arizona CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsements.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in past 7 years; pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Wash, fuel and service vehicles.
• Clean buildings and grounds as directed.
• Perform daily facility maintenance and repairs.

What will your job look like?

The Utility will be responsible for washing, fueling and minor servicing of fleet vehicles, perform facility maintenance and repairs as needed, assist in fleet maintenance daily operations and able to work in various weather elements outdoors. Service: Scottsdale Trolley Starting Pay Rate: $21.50 Location: 9191 E San Salvador Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85258 CDL Requirement: valid Arizona Driver Class A or B CDL with a Passenger Endorsement (PE)

What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)

• Wash, Fuel and Service vehicles
• Cleans buildings and grounds as directed
• Perform daily Facility maintenance and repairs
• Assists in daily Fleet Maintenance operations as directed
• Prepare daily Utility Fleet Reports

• Regular attendance is required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have valid U.S. Driver’s license for past 3 years
• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona Driver Class A or B CDL with passenger endorsements
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 5 years
• No more than 2 at fault accidents in the past 5 years
• No more than 2 violations of No Liability Insurance in the past 5 years
• No Reckless Driving or driving with a suspended license within the past 7 years and no more than 2 in a lifetime
• No DUI or DWI convictions
• Possess valid authorization to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screening
• Must pass criminal background check and investigation & Motor Vehicle Record check
