Warner Bros. Discovery in Burbank is hiring for food service-oriented roles across its cafeteria venues. Responsibilities include cashiering, bussing, barista service, stocking, and taking orders, with event support and heavy-lifting as needed.

The role requires 1–2 years of food and beverage experience, a ServSAFE certificate within six months, and strong verbal communication. Shifts are flexible, with long standing periods and a 50+ lb lifting capacity.

Your Role Accountabilities:

Duties include opening and closing Food Services venues, cashiering, bussing, barista service, stocking, cleaning, taking food orders, and food delivery. Utilities also assist with Special Events, including lifting and carrying tables, chairs, and equipment. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across the Cafeteria, Road Runner, and Avon Grill. Dispose of trash throughout the shift and at the end. Perform stewarding and dishwasher functions as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must have 1 to 2 years food and beverage experience. Banquet experience is preferred.

Will be required to obtain a ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate within 6 months of beginning employment. This demonstrates a commitment to the cleanliness of the food services areas, and commitment to food and physical safety.

Must have good verbal communication skills.

Standard shift is approximately 4.5 to 7.5 hours per day, plus a 30-minute paid meal break when working a minimum of 6 hours. Ability to work a flexible schedule, working some weekends and holidays are required.

Physical exertion requiring standing for long periods, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, cleaning kitchen and catering equipment, and maneuvering heavy weights up to 50+ lbs.

Transportation is required to get to work.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $35,360 - $51,646.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
