Job summary

Accenture's Utilities practice is seeking a utilities industry professional to support enterprise asset management transformation for transmission and distribution clients in the US. You will analyze challenges, design and implement asset management and work management solutions, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

You will work with senior teams, apply analytics and AI-enabled approaches, and develop leadership capabilities while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in utilities, consulting, or related roles.
  • Experience with enterprise asset management systems or processes.
  • Exposure to asset management, maintenance, or work management in utilities.
  • For Managers, at least 2 years in a functional consulting role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support EAM transformation initiatives for Utilities clients (transmission and distribution).
  • Contribute to assessments, planning, design, and implementation of asset/work management solutions.
  • Translate client challenges into actionable recommendations and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior team to deliver functional and technology solutions for asset lifecycle management.
  • Apply analytics and automation concepts to improve asset performance and maintenance strategies.
  • Develop trusted relations with clients and internal teams, aiding problem solving.
  • Assist in developing presentations, analyses, and deliverables for strategy and implementation.
  • Continuously build industry and technical expertise toward leadership responsibilities.
  • Travel to client sites as needed.

You Are:

A utility industry professional with experience supporting digital transformation and enterprise asset management initiatives within transmission and distribution environments. You bring curiosity, analytical thinking, and a strong foundation in utility processes such as asset health, maintenance, and lifecycle performance. You are interested in applying new technologies — including data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions — to help utilities modernize how they manage assets and improve operational outcomes. You enjoy working collaboratively to solve complex problems and are eager to grow your consulting skills by supporting both strategic initiatives and delivery execution. You are comfortable working alongside clients and cross-functional teams, contributing ideas, structuring analysis, and helping drive solutions forward. You are motivated to continuously learn, expand your technical and industry knowledge, and develop into a future leader within the Utilities consulting space.

The Work:
  • Support delivery of enterprise asset management (EAM) transformation initiatives for Utilities clients, including transmission and distribution organizations
  • Contribute to assessments, planning, design, and implementation of asset management and work management solutions
  • Help analyze client challenges and translate them into actionable recommendations and business outcomes
  • Work closely with senior team members to deliver functional and technology solutions aligned to utilities asset lifecycle management
  • Apply emerging technologies, analytics, and automation concepts to improve asset performance and maintenance strategies
  • Develop trusted working relationships with clients and internal teams, contributing to collaborative problem solving
  • Support development of presentations, analyses, and deliverables for both strategy and implementation efforts
  • Continuously build industry and technical expertise while progressing toward leadership responsibilities
  • Ability to travel for client work as needed
Please note

we are open to hiring either Consultants (minimum of 3 years of experience), or Managers (with a minimum of 5 years of experience). We are open to hiring in most major cities across the US, that are near to an approved Accenture corporate office.

Job Qualifications

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in utilities (gas and/or electric), consulting, or related industry roles
  • Experience supporting enterprise asset management systems or processes (e.g., IBM Maximo, Infor EAM, SAP PM, or similar)
  • Exposure to asset management, maintenance, or work management processes within utilities environments
  • For Managers, you have at least two years of experience in a functional consulting role, for a leading professional services firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within team-based environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured thinking
  • Interest in technology-enabled transformation and information systems environments
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to present ideas clearly

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
