Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment at its Augusta facility on Wrightsboro Rd. The role ensures the safe operation of highly complex systems within a healthcare environment.

Applicants should have 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience (or HVAC program graduate) and 1 year of BAS controls experience in commercial/healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance tech experience to include HVAC experience; may substitute if graduate from HVAC program.
• 1 year of experience with BAS controls, preferably in commercial/healthcare HVAC or BAS program graduate.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specific systems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV's, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience. Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program Required
• 1 year For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include of commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program Required

Licenses and Certifications

• EPA - Universal Certification Required
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid state issued driver's license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 Required
