Job summary

Helion Group is seeking a dependable Industrial Utilities Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and related plant equipment at our Jerome facility.

You will perform routine maintenance, respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and document repairs while following ammonia safety and Process Safety Management requirements. This hands-on role requires reliability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical maintenance and industrial equipment.
• Ability to identify equipment problems and respond to alarms.
• Understanding of industrial safety procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and follow instructions, working independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boilers, air compressors, HVAC, and other utility equipment.
• Check equipment readings and respond to alarms or breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot problems and help get equipment running again.
• Complete work orders, document repairs, and communicate equipment issues to the maintenance team.
