Job summary

Helion Group is seeking a dependable Travel Utilities Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and other plant equipment at our Idaho Falls facility. The role focuses on keeping equipment running safely while minimizing downtime.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to alarms, following ammonia safety and PSM requirements. Team communication and accurate work order documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance and industrial equipment.
• Ability to identify equipment problems and respond to alarms.
• Understanding of industrial safety procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot, follow instructions, and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boilers, air compressors, HVAC, and other utility equipment.
• Check equipment readings and respond to alarms or breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot problems and help get equipment running again.
