Job summary

Air Liquide is hiring a Production Technician for our Geismar, LA water plant. You will operate and maintain plant processes, monitor safety, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial environment.

We value safety, reliability, and teamwork. The role requires flexibility for 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and the ability to work with standard operating procedures and CMMS workflows.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates understanding of plant safety rules/regulations and company safety policies.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Follows standard operating and maintenance procedures, reads blueprints, P&IDs and simple schematics; performs basic math.
• Keeps accurate records, documents per policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs work in compliance with safety requirements including lockout/tagout and energy control isolation.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, flow charts, P&IDs, electrical schematics; performs basic math.
• Operates water plant processes, conducts rounds and water sampling, loads trucks, performs PMs.
• Maintains housekeeping and organization standards.

We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries.
