Job summary

• Perform operator rounds, water samples, truck loading, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support safety policies and housekeeping to maintain a clean, compliant plant environment.

Due to the complexity of the skill sets needed for this position, Production Technician levels have been established to distinguish work performance capabilities and the degree of independence each task is to be performed.****Job Duties:*** Apply your understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, and company safety policies/procedures to protect the team.* Foster a shared safety culture by being safety minded; models supportive safety practices.* Work safely and conscientiously in all situations.* Identify potential maintenance needs; enter them into the work order maintenance management system (Maximo) to ensure ongoing reliability.* Perform all work in alignment with standard operating and maintenance procedures, utilizing current Life Safety Training skills and safety requirements including safe work permits, energy control isolation and IDLs, confined space entry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job discussions, plant safety inspections, etc.* Partner with contractors, visitors, and co-workers to support compliance with company safety policies/procedures.
