Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist for the B shift at the Caseyville, IL facility. You will work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep the line running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to equipment failures, and collaborate with plant teams to minimize downtime while following CMMS processes and safety protocols. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills documented on work history or resume; 2-year maintenance program credential acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.

Come be part of our Team.**Shifts: Shifts A and B****Pay Level Range: Starting at $28.05 to $40.10.****Applicants will be considered for, General Maintenance level openings.****Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.****ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Include, but are not limited to the following)*** Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.* Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.* Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.* Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.* Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.* Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.* Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.* Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.**REQUIREMENTS:****Education and Experience:** Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance and Reliability in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Must have electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience documented on the work history section of the application or in the resume, or be a graduate of a 2-year industrial maintenance training program (vocational or trade school) *Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation***SPECIAL SKILLS:*** **Computer Skills:** Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation.
