Pilgrim’s in North Carolina is hiring for a Weekend Utility position in our hatchery environment. You will perform general in-and-out tasks, assist with sanitation, maintain equipment, monitor operations, and support Embrex operations when needed.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift and push heavy loads, and strong teamwork. We offer a safety-first culture, competitive benefits after 60 days, and opportunities for growth through continuous learning.

Utility Weekend

• Complete general in-and-out tasks throughout the facility to support daily operations
• Assist with routine sanitation to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform small maintenance tasks and basic equipment upkeep
• Monitor and maintain operational equipment to ensure functionality
• Support Embrex operations when needed

Work Environment

This role operates within a hatchery environment requiring adherence to strict sanitation, safety, and biosecurity standards. Tasks may involve standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and working around equipment and livestock for extended periods.

Work Schedule

• Wednesday:5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Friday:3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Saturday:1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Sunday:10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Note: Hours may occasionally extend or adjust based on production needs.
