Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. seeks a Utilities Intern to join our Seattle team for the summer of 2027. You will support engineering assignments that contribute to the planning, design, and construction of Utilities.

This internship provides exposure to real-world engineering work, helps build technical skills, and fosters interest in a career in engineering. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration with project engineers, and exposure to site visits, reporting, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or similar engineering software is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated with ability to work with a team and independently.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing basic plan details, drawings and calculations under the guidance of project engineers.
• Support the development of technical specifications and project documentation.
• Draft sections of technical reports or memorandums with direction from the team.
• Participate in field visits to observe tests, take measurements, and collect field data.
• Provide general support to project teams, including helping with proposal materials as needed.
• Perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance.
• May perform duties such as gathering and organizing data for departmental projects; assist professionals on assignments.
• Utilize current company-wide software to complete assignments.
• Assume additional responsibilities to support team and organizational goals.
