Job summary

El Super #70 in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Utilities Clerk to help maintain the store and assist customers on the floor. You will bag groceries, carry out groceries when needed, run price checks, help with go-backs, and keep carts and the parking area clean and safe.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand and walk for long periods, and provide friendly customer service in a fast-paced grocery environment. Starting pay is $18.47 per hour.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions and labels on products and pricing codes.
• Write simple correspondence or notes.
• Present information clearly to customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries for customers and assist with groceries when requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; retrieve carts and keep areas tidy.
• Run price checks, assist with go-backs, and help with check stand upkeep.
• Remove waste from the parking area and support overall store maintenance.
