El Super in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Utilities Clerk (ages 16-17) to support daily store operations. The starting rate is $16.90 per hour, reflecting entry‑level duties in a fast‑paced grocery environment.

The role involves bagging groceries, assisting with carrying items, price checks, and maintaining carts and aisles while following safety standards. Physical effort is required with lifting and standing.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Opportunity

The Utilities Clerk will properly bag groceries for customers when needed and, if requested, will carry out groceries for customers. Must maintain store cleanliness and safety at all times.
