Job summary

The Nature Conservancy in Moab, Utah, seeks a Utah Riparian Restoration Project Manager to lead large-scale restoration efforts across southern Utah, partnering with BLM and local organizations to improve watershed health and drought resilience.

You will plan, design, implement and monitor riparian and wet meadow restoration projects, coordinate field crews and contractors, secure permits, and translate ecological science into on-ground conservation outcomes while building long-term

Qualifications

• BA/BS, law or business degree with 5+ years of natural resource management or related field.
• Experience negotiating complex agreements.
• Experience communicating with the public and/or media in writing and verbally.
• Experience designing and implementing restoration projects.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% and work in a hybrid Moab office setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement riparian and wet meadow restoration projects across southern Utah.
• Coordinate field crews and contractors to execute field work.
• Secure permits and environmental clearances in collaboration with agencies.
• Collaborate with federal agencies, partners, and conservation organizations to advance restoration goals.
