The Nature Conservancy is hiring a Utah Riparian Restoration Project Manager in Moab to lead large-scale restoration across southern Utah, partnering with BLM and local organizations.

You will plan, design, implement, and monitor riparian and wet meadow restoration projects, secure permits, and coordinate field crews while advancing stewardship of public lands. Travel 25–50% and hybrid work in Moab.

Formación

• BA/BS in natural resources, ecology, or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience negotiating complex agreements.
• Proven ability to communicate with the public and media in writing and verbally.
• Experience using MS Word, MS Excel, and web browsers.
• Experience designing and implementing restoration projects.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and implement riparian and wet meadow restoration projects in southern Utah.
• Coordinate with BLM, partners, and organizations to secure permits and ecological clearances.
• Oversee field implementation and manage crews and contractors.
• Translate ecological science into on-the-ground conservation outcomes.
• Collaborate across teams and travel 25–50% for field work.
