Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a Level II Ultrasonic Testing Weld Inspector to ensure welds meet AWS/ASME codes and project specs. You will perform UT examinations, interpret indications, and report results, while supporting production in defect resolution.

The role requires NDT Level II UT certification and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE; you will review WPS/PQR and maintain traceability documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Hands-on UT weld inspections across 11ga to 3 in.
• Experience inspecting welds to AWS D1.1 standards.
• NDT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and access weld locations in tight spaces.
• Ability to work in industrial conditions with required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welds to AWS/ASME codes and project specifications.
• Perform and document weld inspections, including ultrasonic testing examinations; interpret indications and report results.
• Review welding procedure specifications (WPS/PQR) and verify welder qualifications.
• Conduct and maintain inspection records, NCRs, and traceability documentation.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve weld defects and support rework/repair activities.
