Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an NDT technician with UT qualifications to set up, calibrate, and conduct inspection tests. The role requires interpreting results, documenting findings, and guiding trainees under limited supervision.

Experience with aerospace hardware and C-scan/immersion systems is highly valued. The position may start in 1st shift and will transition to a 3rd shift as needed. High School diploma and specialized NDT training (SNT-TC1A/NAS-410 UT) are required, with Level II

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A and NAS-410 in UT.
• Prior certification as an NDE Level II with 1 year experience or Level I with aerospace experience hours to become Level II per SNT-TC1A/NAS-410.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests independently using UT NDT techniques.
• Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results.
• Supervise trainees and Level I personnel under supervision.
• Familiar with applicable codes, standards, and contractual documents.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Analyze information and present numerical data effectively.
• Shift progression from 1st shift to 3rd shift.
