Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking a Level II PT Technician to perform in-house Aerospace shop work and deliver quality nondestructive testing using PT methods. The role involves setting up equipment, conducting tests, and documenting results with minimal supervision.

The position requires a specialized NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A and Level II MT/PT certification, or a path from Level I with relevant aerospace hours to achieve Level II status. Competitive wages and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A, and Level II MT/PT certification is required.
• Prior Level II NDE certification with 1 year experience or prior Level I with Aerospace hours to become Level II per SNT-TC1A or NAS-410 standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PT NDT tests independently and interpret results.
• Set up and calibrate PT equipment.
• Document inspection results accurately and concisely.
• Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel with minimal supervision.
