Qualifications

  • Active DoD secret clearance is required to be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, Ocean Engineering, or a related quantitative field; or 3+ years' experience with at least one NEC code.
  • Three years of professional experience in operations research, data analysis, systems analysis, USN USW combat systems, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Sonar Suite ACB15+ or later within the last five years.
  • Understanding of operations research principles, statistical analysis, data modeling, and quantitative methods for USN combat systems.
  • Proficiency with Linux-based systems (RHEL) and sonar-related applications.
  • Strong MS Office skills; excellent attention to detail and communication.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Conduits technical analysis, performance assessments, and data reconstruction while supporting test planning and systems engineering of surface-ship USW Combat System T&E events—focus on AN/SQQ-89A(V)15.
  • Supports test planning by evaluating ship configurations and baselines, determining test requirements, developing test scenarios, and identifying required resources.
  • Serves as SME for assigned equipment, oversees scheduled tests, and documents results per approved test plans.
  • Supports shipboard pierside and at-sea test execution, including equipment operation, maintenance, data collection, and live-fire events per USN procedures.
  • Applies operations research, statistical methods, and modeling to reconstruct events and evaluate sonar performance and tactics.
  • Develops analytical reports, briefings, data products, findings, and recommendations for USG stakeholders.
  • Supports continuous improvement of T&E processes, procedures, and analytical methodologies.
  • Participates in USG training to complete required qualifications.
  • Bid and proposal support as requested.
  • Other duties assigned.
