Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Surface Sonar & Combat Systems Analyst (Operations Research Analyst) to provide technical and administrative T&E support for USW combat systems, focusing on the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Sonar Suite on the Hawaii Detachments Support Services contract.

The role analyzes test data, develops analytical products, and supports US Navy and allied ship sailings. The candidate applies operations research, statistics, modeling, and quantitative methods to support

Qualifications

Active DoD secret clearance is required.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or 3+ years with NEC codes substitution.
Experience with AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Sonar Suite or similar USW combat systems preferred.
Understanding of sonar concepts, hull-mounted and towed-array systems.
Proficiency with Linux-based environments and sonar-related applications.
Strong analytical methods and data reconstruction skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

Analyze test data and support planning, execution, and reporting of USW Combat System T&E.
Assist with test planning, configuration evaluation, and resource identification.
Serve as SME for equipment and document results per approved test plans.
Support shipboard testing, data collection, and troubleshooting per USN procedures.
Develop analytical reports, briefings, and recommendations for USG stakeholders.
Contribute to process improvements for T&E methodologies and equipment.
