ECS Group is seeking a Maryland-based Tank Inspector to complete Third Party inspections for the Maryland Department of the Environment and perform requisite repairs. You will collaborate with staff on various projects, attend project meetings with senior staff, and coordinate with contractors on site daily.

Required qualifications include Maryland Certified UST System Inspector Certification and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; a Bachelor/MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other engineering degree applicable to environmental consulting preferred.
• If driving for ECS, a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Maryland Certified UST System Inspector Certification is required
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required
• Preferred Bachelor and/or Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other Engineering degree applicable to Environmental Consulting
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required

Skills and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of environmental principles and applications.
• Basic knowledge of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and environmental test methods
• Interest in project management, consulting, and business development.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds a number of times each day and walk on uneven ground through various terrains.

Military Qualifications

• The following US Military ranks would qualify for this position:

Pay

The expected pay range for this role and location is $23-$28/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
