Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a grown and focused professional to perform third party tank inspections for Maryland’s Department of the Environment and manage related deficiencies. You will interact with staff across projects, attend meetings with senior staff, and coordinate with contractors on active sites daily.

Qualified candidates hold Maryland UST inspection certification with a civil or environmental engineering background.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of environmental principles and applications.
• Basic knowledge of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and environmental test methods.
• Interest in project management, consulting, and business development.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and walk on uneven ground across varied terrains.

Responsibilities

• Complete Maryland Department of the Environment Third Party Tank Inspections and requisite repairs of deficiencies.
• Interact and collaborate with staff on a variety of projects.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff as requested.
• Interface with contractors and other site personnel on project sites daily.
• Keep supervisor informed of changing site conditions and/or additional testing requested on project sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
