Firstech Environmental, Inc. is seeking a UST & Soil Remediation Heavy Equipment Specialist to support on-site remediation and closure projects in New Jersey. You will operate heavy equipment, supervise crews, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while following project plans.

The role requires 5 years of heavy equipment operation and site remediation experience, a NJ license with no points, and OSHA HAZWOPER training, with a focus on teamwork and independent work at active project sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years of heavy equipment operation required.
• Minimum 3 years of site remediation experience.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license (no points); NJ Class A CDL preferred.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER completed or willingness to obtain, plus annual 8-hour refresher.
• High school diploma or equivalent; English language proficiency.
• Ability to commute to Township of Wall, NJ 07719 (Required)

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple heavy machines with precision to support remediation and construction preparation.
• Lead and support on-site crews; communicate proactively with supervisors and project staff.
• Follow plans and instructions; complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Assist craft workers, masons, and a mechanical foreman.
• Maintain strict health and safety compliance on site and while driving company vehicles.
• Train field staff; continuously learn new tasks from coworkers.
• Clean and clear hazardous and non-hazardous materials; clean and store equipment and tools properly
