Job summary

Solve Intelligence is seeking a Legal & Product Engineer with USPTO examiner experience to help shape the patent office side of the product. You will join a lean, fast-moving legal team in New York and translate examiner insights into product decisions.

Responsibilities include bringing firsthand experience into product discussions, supporting engagement with global patent offices, and onboarding examiner users as Solve's examiner-facing product and contracts come online.

Qualifications

• Registered US patent attorney or patent agent (technical degree in CS/EE).
• Former USPTO patent examiner with 1–2 years experience.
• Experience across USPTO examining and private practice.
• Comfortable in customer-facing settings and demos.

Responsibilities

• Bring USPTO examiner perspective into product discussions.
• Support direct engagement with patent offices (USPTO/EPO).
• Onboard and support examiner users for Solve's workflows.
• Work closely with patent attorneys to ramp on Solve’s tooling.
