Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking a User Support Analyst (NS) for the Office of Staff Development and Training (OSDT) at the Central Region Training Center in Apex, NC. You will support the NC Learning Center, manage user accounts, training records, reporting, and system configuration.

You will also maintain SharePoint sites, administer permissions, provide classroom tech support, and collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience with NC Learning Center (Cornerstone OnDemand LMS) for training administration and reporting.
  • ADT ProWatch security server application/system administrator experience preferred.
  • OPUS Site Security experience preferred.
  • SharePoint site administrator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Description of Work

This position is assigned to the Office of Staff and Training (OSDT) Central Region Training Center located in Apex, North Carolina in Wake County

Provides support for the daily administration, maintenance, and end user support of the NC Learning Center. This role oversees user accounts, instructor-led training, reporting, and system configuration while providing technical support, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting agency-wide learning initiatives.

Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, provide user support, administer permissions, and site pages, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and collaborate with teams to support business processes and document management.

Provide technical and systems administration support for Office of Staff Development Training (OSDT) employees, including building security software, NCID account management, VPN requests, and OPUS Site Security in collaboration with IT and facility/vendor partners. Provide technical support for classroom technology and audiovisual equipment, troubleshoot issues, maintain instructional technology, and assist faculty to ensure reliable classroom operations.

The following Management Preferences are not required, but applicants that possess these skills are preferred:

  • Learning admin experience with NC Learning Center (Cornerstone OnDemand Learning Management System)
  • ADT ProWatch security server application/system administrator experience
  • OPUS Site Security experience
  • SharePoint site administrator experience
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Salary Range: $ 65,607 - $ 98,412

The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required. Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.
