Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Experience Research Vice President for the Morgan Health and Corporate Responsibility teams to shape user experience across products and services.

You will lead research strategy, mentor junior researchers and designers, and apply quantitative and qualitative methods to derive insights guiding product design. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, develop a holistic experience strategy for health and corporate initiatives, and create artifacts like

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in generative and evaluative UX research, with a strong focus on both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Proven ability to conduct ethnography, surveys, interviews, and advanced data analysis to derive actionable insights for UX design.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced qualitative methods, with evidence of implementing findings that improved product or feature design.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, and developers, to inform decision-making and prioritization.
  • Experience designing high-quality research studies with an iterative mindset and adapting study parameters to changing product needs.
  • Demonstrated experience creating visual research artifacts such as journey maps, personas, and user segments to build empathy and drive decisions.

As an Experience Research Vice President in Corporate Responsibility and Morgan Health Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our products and services. Leveraging your deep expertise in research methods and user experience design, develop and execute research strategies to uncover valuable insights into the wants, needs, and abilities of our customers and end users. Your work will provide the foundation used to inform effective product and service designs across the firm. Apply your advanced knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods to critically analyze the effectiveness of our existing and future designs as you collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.

In this role, you will help drive the experience strategy and deliver research for Morgan Health and Corporate Responsibility. In this space, you will need to consider a wide range of user segments from community non-profits to general employees to grant administrators as you deliver holistic experiences across multiple applications.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in generative and evaluative user experience research, with a strong focus on both quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Proven ability to conduct various research techniques, such as ethnography, surveys, interviews, and advanced data analysis, to derive actionable insights for user experience design
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced qualitative methods, with evidence of implementing findings that improved product or feature design
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, and developers, to propel customer‑centric decision‑making and inform product prioritization
  • Experience in designing high‑quality research studies with an iterative mindset, with an ability to adapt study parameters to accommodate changing product design needs
  • Demonstrated experience creating visual research artifacts, such as journey maps, personas, and user segments, that build empathy and drive decision making for UX design, product, and development
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 1+ years of experience supporting employee facing experiences or enterprise applications and tools
  • 2+ years of experience leveraging AI to transform and enhance the speed and quality of UX research
