Job summary

2K is seeking a User Experience Researcher to conduct player-centric UX research for its award-winning game titles. You will design and run playtests in lab or remote settings, analyze feedback, and produce insights that inform game development.

You will collaborate with Research & Insights, Data Science, Community and QA teams to build accurate player profiles and actionable recommendations. Ideal candidates have a strong background in UX research, experience with mixed methods, and a passion

Qualifications

UX and Usability research experience.
Understanding of mixed-methods frameworks and processes.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Ability to summarize and communicate large amounts of qualitative data.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Passion for video games and gaming.

Responsibilities

Conduct video game playtests in lab or remote settings.
Design and implement research plans, study designs, briefs, and related components.
Analyze and summarize player feedback and qualitative data.
Collaborate with Research & Insights, Data Science, Community and QA teams.
Author research reports for partner audiences.
Maintain research repositories and dashboards.
Build relationships with development studios and publishing partners.
Become familiar with mechanics of in-development games.
Conduct competitive analyses and design teardowns.
