Job summary

TheHiley Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Service Technician to inspect and repair a range of vehicles, including Certified Pre-Owned and used models. You will test drive vehicles, diagnose systems, and perform repairs to factory specifications, collaborating with the service team to meet quality standards.

Candidates should have 2+ years of service experience, multi-brand knowledge, and strong diagnostic abilities with electronic equipment.

Qualifications

2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
Multi-brand vehicle knowledge preferred.
Dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform Certified Pre-Owned, Used Car and Cash Car inspections.
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
Communicate with internal advisor and used car director regarding timeframe and repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications when necessary.
