Job summary

Haag Ford Sales in Lawrenceburg, IN is seeking a motivated Used Vehicle Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition pre-owned vehicles for sale.

The role requires strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, family-owned dealership environment. ASE and Ford experience are pluses but not required.

• Experience as automotive technician preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and safety concerns.
• Diagnose and repair used vehicle issues efficiently and accurately.
• Complete reconditioning work including brakes, suspension, steering, drivability, and maintenance repairs.
• Perform oil changes, tire services, and routine maintenance.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections according to dealership standards.
• Document repairs and recommendations accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work closely with the Used Vehicle Manager and Service Department to meet reconditioning timelines.

Haag Ford Sales is looking for a motivated and dependable Used Vehicle Technician to join our growing service team. This position plays a key role in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards before being offered for sale.

Compensation

• $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and productivity
