Job summary

Schlossmann Honda City is seeking part-time service technicians to perform used car safety checks and repairs before opening or after closing. Shifts run mornings or evenings with opportunities for mentoring, paid training, and advancement.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, test-driving, and coordinating with theSales team. Requires 2+ years of tech experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of service technician experience required.
• Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies.
• Customer-focused and teamwork mindset.
• Proficient with basic computer use.
• Ability to learn new repair procedures and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform service work on multiple vehicle brands per dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and inspect components with diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, etc.).
• Communicate with Sales on needed services and timelines.
• Provide time estimates for repairs and work under warranty per specs.
• Open or close the building as needed.

Job description

We are looking to add additional techs before opening or after closing to perform Used Car Safety's. We have out grew our regular working hours and are looking to expand before or after hours used car safety's.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on multiple brands of vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Sales Department so they are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Open or close the building as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience required
• Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies

• Ability to collaborate effectively

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
