Job summary

Schlossmann Honda City of Milwaukee is seeking part-time Service Technicians to perform used car safety checks and maintenance before opening or after closing. We offer apprenticeship mentoring, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Positions are available for mornings (4:00am–7:00am) or evenings (5:00pm–8:00pm) on weekdays, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid vacation, holidays, and more. Apply online or contact Jeff Shurkoff for details.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience required.
• Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies.
• Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mindset.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology and diagnostic equipment.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on multiple brands of vehicles with efficiency per dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Sales Department to inform of additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Open or close the building as needed.
