Stivers Ford Lincoln of Waukee, Iowa, is seeking a dependable Reconditioning/Used Car Technician to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair pre-owned vehicles for safe and reliable retail readiness. The role collaborates with Used Car, Service Advisors, Parts, and Management to speed up the path from reconditioning to the sales lot.

Qualificações

• Must have mechanical and diagnostic aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems.
• Experience with both domestic and import vehicles preferred.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and standard shop tools to complete repairs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform multi-point inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and safety issues.
• Repair engines, transmissions, suspensions, steering, brakes, cooling, and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filters, and tire rotations.
• Complete repairs to meet dealership retail standards and document all work performed.
• Coordinate with Parts and Service teams to minimize delays and ensure timely readiness of vehicles.
