Job summary

Holler Ford is seeking an Automotive Used Car Reconditioning Technician to perform full repairs as well as emission, powertrain, electrical, and A/C diagnostics on a variety of multi-brand vehicles. The role includes supervising any apprentice and working with diagnostic equipment to ensure proper and efficient repairs.

The position offers a sign-on bonus via a long-term compensation savings account and requires the ability to read wiring diagrams, repair experience, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend
• Reading and understanding wiring diagrams
• Ability to perform full vehicle repairs safely and efficiently
• ASE Certification Preferred
• 3+ years experience on multi-brand models
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Perform full repairs of vehicle components
• Conduct emission diagnostics and repairs using shop equipment
• Diagnostics, repair and rebuild powertrain (engine, transmissions, rear ends)
• Diagnose suspension and brake systems including ABS and related electrical systems
• Repair and diagnose electrical systems, airbags, and A/C systems
• Read and understand wiring diagrams and use shop equipment
• Maintain efficiency to complete repairs within time allotment
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management
