Job summary

John Eagle Honda of Dallas is expanding its used vehicle operation and seeks a driven Used Vehicle Buyer to grow pre-owned units. This role will build an acquisition pipeline via service lane opportunities, auctions, and dealer networks, while collaborating with Sales and Service to hit inventory goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive used vehicle acquisition through the service drive, customer retention opportunities, auctions, and dealer networks.
• Identify, appraise, and acquire high-quality pre-owned inventory that aligns with market demand and dealership goals.
• Build relationships with service customers and provide a seamless, professional vehicle appraisal and acquisition experience.
• Partner with Sales, Service, and Leadership teams to develop and execute strategies that increase inventory and support used vehicle sales growth.
• Analyze market trends, vehicle values, and inventory needs to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Utilize dealership tools and CRM systems to manage acquisition opportunities and maintain an organized workflow.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all acquisition documentation and vehicle processing.
• Meet acquisition and inventory growth objectives while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

This role is critical to our growth strategy as we work to increase our used vehicle sales volume from 75-80 units per month to 120+ units monthly.Success in this position comes from building a strong acquisition pipeline through service lane opportunities, customer outreach, market analysis, and strategic purchasing decisions.
