Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Gonzales, LA is seeking a part-time Retail Used Firearms Outfitter to evaluate and purchase used firearms, and process transfers in accordance with law and policy. You will provide legendary customer service, assist customers with buying decisions, and ensure accurate recordkeeping for firearms transactions.

This role requires 21+ years of age, knowledge of firearms, and the ability to work in a retail environment. Local travel to purchase used firearms may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, appraises and purchases used firearms utilizing experience of firearms knowledge and resources.
• Acquires all firearms legally and in accordance with ATF/state/local laws and company policies.
• Maintains visual standards and housekeeping in the department and back room.
• Participates in ongoing training including firearms product information and compliance.
• Provides legendary customer service by assisting customers in buying decisions.
• Responds to customer issues with good judgment and problem-solving.
• Communicates benefits of company programs.
• All other duties as assigned.
