Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Service Technician experience.
• Must provide your own tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous dealership experience preferred.
• Dexterity and steady hand with good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
• Team player with ability to collaborate.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections on used vehicles.
• Complete appropriate repairs and recalls as required.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C).
• Coordinate with the Service Manager and Used Vehicle Reconditioning Manager to ensure reconditioning meets standards and is completed on time.
